Manage settings such as booking duration, turnaround time, booking intervals, SMS, email and more.

In this article:


SET UP ADVANCED SETTINGS

  1. From DASHBOARD, click menu and select SETTINGS.

  2. Select ADVANCED. From here you can edit the default settings.

  3. Click SAVE.

BOOKING

  • Duration – The time limit of each reservation.

  • Turnaround Time – The time needed to get a table ready for another reservation. If you only have one seating per night, ignore this function.


ONLINE BOOKING

  • Interval – Available booking times. Example: If you're open from 16:00 to 22:00 and select 15 min intervals, guests can book 16:15, 16:30, 16:45, etc.

  • Minimum Notice – The amount of time prior to a reservation that is available for booking.

  • Maximum Notice – How far in advance bookings can be made online.

  • Cancellation Notice – The notice you require from guests if they cancel a reservation. This can vary between prepaid experiences and regular bookings.

    Note: This notice determines when the cancellation link in the confirmation email stops working.

  • Confirmation Window Text – Text that the guest sees when booking online. Include your cancellation policy and other information. Find out how to set up Policies here.


ALLERGIES AND DIETARY REQUESTS

Decide what the Confirm your booking page looks like for guests and what it includes.

You can add a note, allow the guest to write a message to the restaurant or request the specific allergy and dietary requests visible to you from the Partner page and POS app.


ANALYTICS

Add your Google Analytics Tracking ID to connect your SUPERB page to your Google Analytics Account.


SMS

If you use our SMS service, type in the name of your restaurant as Sender ID.

In Reminder time, select when your guest will receive a reminder of their reservation.


EMAIL

Type in the address that will be CC'ed in every email sent. This lets you keep track of all communication between the SUPERB booking system and guests.

Note: By selecting this option, you'll receive every confirmation, reminder, update of the reservation, cancellation, etc.

  • Reminder time The time a guest receives an email reminder for their upcoming reservation.

  • Thank you Email An email will only be sent if you turn the feature ON and be sent 12 hours after the booking is completed. See how to edit email templates here.

  • Reconfirmation Email This email is sent 48 hours before the reservation and asks the guest to confirm the booking again. An email will only be sent if you turn the feature ON. Learn how to turn on reconfirmation emails here.
