HOW TO MAKE A NEW BOOKING
1. From DASHBOARD, you have 2 different options:
Option 1: Double-click the square on the grid corresponding to the desired time slot and table you want to book.
Option 2: Click the "+" icon at the top right corner of the screen.
The system will give you 2 options: NEW BOOKING or WALK-IN.
Both direct you to the NEW RESERVATION screen.
Update the DATE and TIME of the booking.
Add the GUEST NAME, TELEPHONE NUMBER and EMAIL.
If the guest visited your restaurant before, find their profile by typing their name, mobile or email in SEARCH GUESTS.
Add Internal or Profile notes to the booking by clicking the plus (+) button next to the search bar.
Scroll down for more options:
Change the number of GUESTS.
The DURATION of the booking.
TURNAROUND time.
Change the assigned TABLE.
See and edit GUEST NOTES.
Click SAVE when finished.
EDIT A NEW BOOKING
1. Double-click the booking.
2. EDIT RESERVATION:
Add and edit PROFILE NOTES.
Add and edit INTERNAL NOTES.
Use the function SENT EMAIL CONFIRMATION and SENT SMS CONFIRMATION.
Update the STATUS of the booking β cancel or move a guest to the waiting list.
To change the status of a booking, click STATUS and choose from the dropdown list.
Note: All new bookings are coloured gold in the DAY VIEW on the DASHBOARD.
Once the status of the booking is changed, the colour of the booking shown on the grid will be different. Every colour indicates a different status.
3. When all changes are made, click SAVE.
USE THE WALK-IN FEATURE
1. From DASHBOARD, click the +.
2. Choose NEW WALK-IN.
3. In WALK-IN, add the following:
GUEST NAME
TIME of the reservation
TABLE
Number of GUESTS
If necessary, add INTERNAL NOTES
4. Click SAVE.
USE THE QUICK BOOK FEATURE
1. From DASHBOARD, click the icon with a flash on it.
β2. In QUICK BOOK, select the number of guests and the time slot.
Note: You will only see tables that have available seating for the number of guests you entered. Unlike the Walk-In feature, QUICK BOOK allows you to quickly seat a guest without having to add extra details.
3. Edit the information in NEW RESERVATION if necessary.
If a guest visited your restaurant before, their profile will pop up in the search bar.
4. Click SAVE.
