Reservation Policy Suggestions and Examples

This document provides you with some inspiration to put together your restaurant’s reservation policy.

Your reservation policy is a legal and binding document that your guests must accept in order to reserve a table at your restaurant.

Please note that it is up to you to pick and choose suitable and applicable to your restaurant.

In your reservation policy we highly recommend to include:

  • Duration of the booking and what happens in case of delays

  • Cancellation policy

  • No-show conditions

  • Pre-payments and refunds

  • Any important information regarding the booking or restaurant

INTRODUCTION

Dear guest,

Thank you for booking with us. We kindly ask you to read the reservation policy thoroughly as you automatically accept the following terms and conditions when booking.

DURATION AND DELAYS

Your table is booked for X hours starting from the time of the confirmed reservation.

We kindly ask of you to notify us of any delays.

We cannot guarantee an extension of the reservation in case of delays.

Unnoticed delays of more than X minutes will result in an automatic cancellation and your table will be given to someone on our waiting list.

CANCELLATIONS

You can cancel your reservation through your confirmation email up until (cancellation notice) before your reservations.

NO SHOW CONDITIONS

Please note that a valid credit card is necessary to guarantee your reservation. In the case of a late cancellation or a no-show the restaurant reserves the right to deduct a no-show fee of €X per guest.

PRE-PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Please note that all sales are final and we do not issue refunds. Should you need to reschedule your reservation, your prepayment can be converted into a gift card if this is requested at least X days/hours before the reservation.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS AND ALLERGIES

Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies of your or your fellow diners before confirming your reservation on the next page. We cannot guarantee to accommodate for allergies specified less than 24 hours before your reservations.

FOR LARGE GROUPS

For reservation of 6 people or more we only serve our fixed menu that is considered for the entirety of the party.

For parties of 8 guests or more, we cannot guarantee that you will be placed at one combined table. However, you will always be placed right next to each other.

DEPOSIT

Please note that for groups larger than 8 people there is a X euro deposit per person to be paid at the moment of booking.

ANIMAL FRIENDLINESS

Please note that although we love pets we cannot allow you to bring your dogs or other pets.

MODIFYING OR CANCELLING RESERVATIONS

To modify or cancel your reservation, please contact us by phone at (phone number).

CORONAPAS

We kindly remind you that all guests must have a valid corona pass that will be requested upon entry together with a valid identity card.
