Create a menu button

Add full set menus with one tap in POS.

Updated over a week ago

The Set Menu feature allows you to bundle products together so that they can be added to the bill with one tap. You also have the flexibility to fire specific servings or the entire menu to the kitchen. Fewer taps, meaning more time for guests.

Create your menu button

In your backoffice:
1. Create a new product which represents your set menu.

2. Check the "Bundle product" checkbox

3. A new tab will appear called "Bundled Products". Here you can add the different products that make up your set menu. Make sure to enter the sequence the products should appear on the bill. If you have not created them yet, hit save and come back to add them later.

4. Make sure the "shop" is assigned in the shop field under the product for your bundle and the child products

Using the menu button on POS

In the POS app, tap on your newly created Set Menu product, this will add all of the different items that belong to the menu. You have the option to comment on the entire menu, or specific items in the menu, for even more detailed communication with the kitchen.

When it is time for the products to be prepared, you can fire the entire menu or the specific items in the menu.

Guest bills

Only the Set Menu name, and not the items in the menu, will appear on the guest bills. Ensuring a clean and concise bill that is easy for guests to understand.

N.B. The Set Menu will be the recorded sale, so it is important that it is given a price and VAT rate. The individuals items in the set menu will have their stock reduced as each Set Menu is sold, but if you have given them a price as well, this price will be disregarded.
