The kitchen display is the place to manage incoming orders, timeslots and menu product availability. The screen can be configured to fit a number of different workflows, and multiple screens can be setup with different configurations and used at different stations in a store.

Enable the Store Display

The Store Display is enabled in the store settings, shown below.

Create a new “Store display” station.

Ensure that the “Store Display enabled” checkbox is checked. If you want POS orders to appear too, then check the “Sync external orders” checkbox.

Access the Store Display

If you’re the Organisation admin, then the Store Display is accessed here:

If you’re user is bound to a store, you’ll enter the Store Display when logging in.

Store Display Features

Depending on what settings and configs are enabled, different elements and features are visible on the screen.

Top bar

Online ordering availability

In the top left corner theres some options to quickly change store availability and waiting times

  1. Click the circle to toggle whether orders can be places online (green) or if online ordering is unavailable (yellow). Orders can still be placed via the POS.

  2. Click the food icon to update the minimum preparation time. This will also effect the time to prepare POS orders.

  3. Click the delivery icon to update the minimum delivery time.

Other options

In the top right corner you’ll find a number of icons:

  1. Click the box to view what products and ingredients has been sold.

  2. Click the history icon to view past orders

  3. Click the gear icon to bring up the Store Display settings

  4. Click the burger menu to bring up the side panel with even more settings:

Timeslot row

The timeslots provide the store with a clear overview of the volume of preorders and deliveries. Timeslots can be configured to automatically close once all capacity has been used, or this can be done manually.

Controls

Click a timeslot to bring up the timeslot settings. The timeslots capacity can be updated, or it can be closed.

Setup

  • Timeslots need to be enabled in the Store settings to appear.

  • The timeslots row can be hidden in the Store Display settings.

Products to prepare

Live orders that has been “marked for preparation” will have those of their products which require preparation shown in this row. Similar products across different orders will be summed together, providing a clear overview of what needs to be done.


Controls

Tapping a live order will mark it, and those of its products which require preparation will appear here.

Setup

Only product that have the “require preparation” option enabled will appear.

Order lanes

Controls

  • Press and hold and order to bring up the order details modal.

  • Single tap a live order to “mark for preparation”. Marked orders have a blue border.

  • Double tap an order to send it to the lane to the right of it.

Setup

  • Pending Orders Lane. This is only available if at least one order method in the store settings has the “Manually accept orders” option enabled. The Pending Orders lane can be hidden in the Store Display settings.

  • Ready Orders Lane. This is only available if at least one order method in the store settings has the “Use ready state” option enabled. The Ready Orders lane can be hidden in the Store Display settings.

Product availability

Clicking on the “box” icon in the top right corner will bring up the Product sales window.

Here you can see how much has been sold of each product. Amount of ingredients used is also shown if configured.

Controls

Click a product to bring up the product availability settings. Here the daily limit can be updated, or the product can be marked as sold out.

Setup

The Product sales can be configured to appear next to the right of the order lanes by enabling the “Show products & stock” in the Store Display Settings.
