What to do if your fiscal printer shows a transmission error


This article explains what to do when your fiscal printer (for the Italian market only) displays a transmission error that prevents corrispettivi from being sent to Agenzia delle Entrate.


Important: Italian tax law allows approximately two weeks to transmit corrispettivi. If transmission has been interrupted, contact Epson as soon as possible to avoid a compliance issue.


Symptoms


Your fiscal printer displays an error such as:


"Errore comunicazione -2" or "Trasmissione: -2"


Payments and orders in Superb POS are processing normally, but the daily fiscal closure fails to transmit corrispettivi to Agenzia delle Entrate.


What causes this


This is a printer-level transmission error. It is not caused by Superb POS and cannot be resolved from within the app. Epson printers require a dedicated diagnostic program to investigate and fix this type of error — this software is only accessible to Epson technicians.


What to do


  1. Contact Epson technical support and provide your printer's serial number — they will run a remote diagnostic or arrange a technician visit
  2. If you have an Epson technician's direct contact, call them and describe the error
