How to reconnect your fiscal printer after changing Wi-Fi or internet provider
This article explains how to restore the connection between Superb POS and your fiscal printer after changing your Wi-Fi network or internet provider.
Why this happens
The fiscal printer connects to the iPad through a local IP address. When you change your Wi-Fi network or internet provider, the IP address changes and the printer loses its connection to Superb POS. This can result in corrispettivi no longer being transmitted to Agenzia delle Entrate.
Reconnect the fiscal printer
- Open the Superb POS app
- Open Back Office from the upper left corner of the screen
- Go to Settings → Fiscal Printers
- Select your printer and tap Reset → Proceed to remove the old connection
- Tap Scan Network — the printer will be detected automatically
- Select the printer from the list and tap Select
- (Optional) Give the printer a name — using the IP address makes it easy to identify
- Tap Proceed
- Tap Setup VAT → Automatic — this retrieves your existing VAT configuration
- Tap Close Printer Day to complete the setup
- Tap Save
The printer is now reconnected. Check your orders list in Sales → Orders and verify that recent orders show a green document icon, confirming successful transmission to Agenzia delle Entrate. If you, consider re-fiscalising them by clicking on the red or yellow icon and fiscalise.
