How to issue a fiscal receipt without an internet connection

Print a scontrino fiscale from the Epson fiscal printer keypad during an internet outage.

Issue a scontrino fiscale (fiscal receipt) directly from the keypad connected to the Epson fiscal printer when the internet connection is down.

What you need

  • The fiscal keypad supplied with the Epson fiscal printer

Connect the keypad to the Epson fiscal printer

  1. Plug the keypad into the USB port on the back of the Epson fiscal printer, at the bottom.

Issue a scontrino fiscale from the Epson keypad

Enter the amount, select the department, and close the sale with the cash key.

  1. Type the amount without a comma. For 1,00 euro, type 100.
  2. Check that the display shows 1,00.
  3. Press Rep.1 (reparto 1, department 1).
  4. Press Contante. The scontrino fiscale prints.

How to enter the amount on the Epson keypad

The keypad takes the amount in cents, so the comma is never typed.

  • 100 = 1,00 euro
  • 1050 = 10,50 euro
  • 12345 = 123,45 euro
