How to export a SAF-T file
Download a SAF-T file of your sales and payments for the tax authorities or your accountant.
SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax) is a standard file format for tax audits. The SAF-T file contains your sales, payments and other transaction data for a period. SAF-T is required in some countries, for example Norway.
Export a SAF-T file
- Go to Reports → Fiscal & Compliance → SAF-T.
- Select the date range.
- Start the export. Superb creates the SAF-T file for the period.
- Download the file.
- Store the file or send it to the tax authorities as required.
Good to know
- The SAF-T file is for tax authorities and audits. The SAF-T file is not an everyday sales report.
- Ask your accountant if SAF-T reporting is required for your business.
