How to choose what each printer prints

Each printer can print for selected registers and selected menu categories. For example, a bar printer can print only drinks, and a kitchen printer can print only food.

Link a printer to registers

A printer only prints jobs from the registers linked to it. One printer can serve several registers, and one register can use several printers.

1. Go to Hardware → Printers.
2. Open the printer.
3. Select the registers the printer should accept jobs from.
4. Save.

Send menu categories to a printer

1. Go to Hardware → Printers.
2. Open the printer.
3. Select the menu categories the printer should print. For example, select Bar and Cafe for the bar printer.
4. Save.

One category can be sent to more than one printer.

Set guest receipts and kitchen tickets

1. Open the printer in Hardware → Printers.
2. Turn on Guest receipts to print receipts for guests, and set the number of copies.
3. Turn on Kitchen receipts to print kitchen tickets, and set the number of copies.
4. Save.

Turn on the order buzzer

The order buzzer plays a sound on the printer when a new order arrives.

1. Open the printer in Hardware → Printers.
2. Turn on Order buzzer.
3. Save.

Open the cash drawer automatically

A cash drawer connected to a receipt printer can open automatically when a cash payment is taken.

1. Open the receipt printer in Hardware → Printers.
2. Turn on the Cash drawer setting.
3. Save.
