Trouble shooting: Card terminal integration
Card Terminal Integration Shows Red
This guide helps you restore connection when your card terminal shows as red (disconnected) in the POS app.
Same WiFi network: iPad and terminal must be connected to the same WiFi network
Matching details: IP address, terminal model, and serial number in POS must match those on the terminal
How to check terminal details on your iPad
- Open the POS app
- Flip the screen to access Backoffice
- Go to Settings > Terminal
- On the right side at the top, click Adyen (Wi-Fi)
- Check the IP address and serial number
- Important: Serial number must include "S1E-"
Troubleshooting Steps

- Go to https://pos.superbexperience.com/login
- Use your master user email and password
- You can use Safari on iPad if easier
- Navigate to register settings
- Go to Settings > Registers
- Select and configure the register
- Select the register for the relevant location from the list on the left
- Check the box "This is an integrated card terminal"
- Click Update
Step 2: Connect Terminal to WiFi
For first-time setup:
- Turn on the terminal
- Tap the "+" button
- Turn WLAN on
- Select your network
- Enter the network password
- Click Connect
For previously connected terminals:
- Tap Settings on the terminal
- Enter password: 2275 (or 1010)
- Select your network
- Press the back arrow
- Wait for any software updates to complete before proceeding
Note: Confirm the terminal is assigned to the correct shop if setting up for the first time.
Step 3: Enter Terminal Details in POS
You need to enter the IP address and serial number from your card terminal into the POS system.
Finding Terminal Information
- On your card terminal, tap Settings
- Tap Device info
IP Address
- Look for Wi-Fi address in Device info
- Copy the complete IP address including all dots
- Enter this in the first row in POS
Example: 192.168.1.100
Serial Number
- Find the serial number in Device info
- Format: Device name (S1E) + dash (-) + serial number
- No spaces
- Use exact capitalization shown on terminal
Example: S1E-000150205012890
Save Configuration
- Enter both IP address and serial number in POS
- Click Save
Verification
After completing all steps:
- The terminal icon in POS should turn from red to green
- Test with a small transaction to confirm connection
Common Issues
Terminal still shows red:
- Verify both devices are on the same WiFi network
- Double-check IP address was entered correctly (including all dots)
- Confirm serial number format includes "S1E-" with no spaces
- Ensure software updates on terminal are complete
Password not working:
- Try 2275 first
- If that doesn't work, try 1010
