Reconfirmation Emails: Setup & Tips


What They Do:

Automatically send guests an email 48 hours before their booking, asking them to confirm their reservation.


Why Use Reconfirmation Emails?

They help reduce no-shows, keep your bookings accurate and reliable, and they are fully automated once turned on



How to activate reconfirmation emails


Turn On Reconfirmation Emails
  1. Go to DASHBOARD → then SETTINGS → then MARKETING & COMMUNICATION → then EMAILS
  2. Toggle on "Send Reconfirmation"
  3. Hit SAVE


Edit the Reconfirmation Email
  1. Scroll down to the "Reminders" under Email Templates and edit the template called Booking Reconfirmation
  2. Click the pencil icon ✏️ to edit
  3. You can now customize sender name & email, subject line, email text in English and your native, selected language.


OBS! Please scroll to the bottom and hit SAVE before you switch language


What Guests See

  • Guests will get an email with a Confirm button
  • Once clicked, their reservation status in your dashboard will change to CONFIRMED automatically on your dashboard
