Reconfirmation Emails: Setup & Tips
What They Do:
Automatically send guests an email 48 hours before their booking, asking them to confirm their reservation.
Why Use Reconfirmation Emails?
They help reduce no-shows, keep your bookings accurate and reliable, and they are fully automated once turned on
How to activate reconfirmation emails
Turn On Reconfirmation Emails
- Go to DASHBOARD → then SETTINGS → then MARKETING & COMMUNICATION → then EMAILS
- Toggle on "Send Reconfirmation"
- Hit SAVE
Edit the Reconfirmation Email
- Scroll down to the "Reminders" under Email Templates and edit the template called Booking Reconfirmation
- Click the pencil icon ✏️ to edit
- You can now customize sender name & email, subject line, email text in English and your native, selected language.
What Guests See
- Guests will get an email with a Confirm button
- Once clicked, their reservation status in your dashboard will change to CONFIRMED automatically on your dashboard
