How to work with Guest Marketing in Partner

How to work with Guest Marketing

Guest Marketing is Superb's revenue-driving feature that helps you engage with your guests through automated and one-off email campaigns.

Accessing Guest Marketing

To access Guest Marketing:

  1. Open the left-hand side menu from your dashboard
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Navigate to Marketing and Communication
  4. Click on Guest Marketing

Automatic Campaigns

Automatic campaigns work for you once set up and activated. They are triggered by actual guest behaviour—whether a guest books or doesn't book at your restaurant.

Campaign Types

You can activate all four campaigns simultaneously or individually. Each works independently:

24-Hour Campaign

  • Sent 24 hours after the guest's last visit
  • Best used to request positive reviews on Google or TripAdvisor

7-Day Campaign

  • Sent one week after the guest's last visit
  • Great for proposing additional services: Gift cards, sister restaurant locations, and special offers
  • Helps you stay top of mind with guests

3-Month Campaign (Win-Back)

  • Sent three months after the guest's last visit - designed to bring guests back to your restaurant
  • Perfect for highlighting: Updated menu offerings, new drinks or wine list, seasonal changes

Regular Guest Campaign

  • Automated for repeat visitors, triggered when a guest makes their third visit
  • Use to welcome them to your "regulars club"
  • Can include weekday promotions or special perks

One-Off Campaigns

The One-Off Campaigns section provides an overview of all campaigns you're sending out and have previously sent.

Time-Saving Tip: Copy your master campaign template so you only need to set up logo, brand colors, images, and footers once.

In order to send a campaign you have already sent to your campaign tester directly to your guests, open the sent campaign, click "Copy campaign", choose the segment and click on the airplane.

Guest Segments

All segments are fluid and update automatically. A contact becomes eligible for Guest Marketing campaigns once they have at least one visit registered in Superb. Available segments include:

  • All Guests: Your entire guest book
  • Irregular Guests: Guests who haven't visited in at least three months or more
  • VIP Segment: Guests you've marked with the VIP star
  • Regular Guests: Guests with more than three visits
  • Newsletter Subscribers: Guests who opted in during online booking

Note: Your campaign test emails will be sent to the email address listed under Restaurant Information unless you've requested our support team to change it.

OBS! The option to unsubscribe from email marketing is included in the bottom of the email. It is not possible to remove it.

Analytics and Insights

Click View Analytics on any campaign to access Guest Marketing Insights, where you can monitor campaign performance.

Available Metrics

Track the following metrics dynamically:

  • Delivery Rate: Successfully delivered emails
  • Open Rate: Emails opened by recipients
  • Click Rate: Links clicked within emails
  • Conversion Rate: Bookings generated from your campaigns

Filtering Options

  • Filter by specific campaign to see individual results
  • Select custom date ranges to track month-by-month performance
  • Monitor how much revenue Guest Marketing generates for your restaurant

Pricing

Guest marketing is charged based on the number of contacts in your database. The first 1,000 contacts are on Superb, so smaller restaurants can get started and grow into the feature before any cost kicks in. Here after, you pay:

  • DKK 0.29 per contact / month
  • £0.03 per contact / month
  • NOK 0.46 per contact / month
  • SEK 0.44 per contact / month
  • €0.039 per contact / month

You are only charged for active contacts who can receive campaigns.

When you activate Guest Marketing, it runs for that billing month and you are charged for the full month. This is a good opportunity to see whether email marketing works for your restaurant, as many others are already seeing results from it. At the end of the month you will have a clear picture of what the campaigns generated, and you can decide whether to continue.

You can also choose to activate Guest Marketing only during slower periods, and pause it during peak seasons where the restaurant is already running at full capacity, such as around Christmas.

If you have any questions about getting started, you can reach out to our support team to be called by a specialist.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find Guest Marketing?

Go to Settings → Marketing and Communication → Guest Marketing from your dashboard.

How many campaigns can I activate at the same time?

All four automatic campaigns can be active simultaneously. Each works independently and is triggered by different guest behaviour.

Why do different campaigns show different numbers of recipients?

Guest segments update automatically. New guests are added and guests who unsubscribe are removed between campaigns, so the recipient count will vary from campaign to campaign.

Can guests unsubscribe from marketing emails?

Yes — an unsubscribe option is included at the bottom of every email. It cannot be removed.

Can I test a campaign before sending it to guests?

Yes — test emails are sent to the email address listed under Restaurant Information. Contact support if you need to change that address.

How do I reuse a campaign I already sent?

Open the sent campaign, click Copy campaign, choose your segment and click send.

What is the difference between automatic and one-off campaigns?

Automatic campaigns run continuously and are triggered by guest behaviour. One-off campaigns are manually sent to a specific segment at a time of your choosing.

How is Guest Marketing priced?

You are charged based on the number of active contacts in your database — contacts who can receive campaigns. Pricing varies by currency: €0.039 / £0.03 / DKK 0.29 / NOK 0.46 / SEK 0.44 per contact per month.

What metrics can I track?

You can track delivery rate, open rate, click rate, and conversion rate (bookings generated). You can filter by campaign and by date range.
