How to Send Daily Sales Reports by Email
This guide explains how to automatically send daily sales reports to selected email addresses after performing your end of day cash-up.
Setting up email recipients in the Superb POS Backoffice
- Log in to your Backoffice
- From your home page, go to SALES
- From the dropdown menu, click EOD
- Configure auto-email
- In the top right corner, click AUTO-EMAIL
- A window will appear
- Add email addresses
- Enter the email addresses where daily sales reports should be sent
- You can add multiple recipients
- Save settings
- Click SAVE
- Click OK to confirm
Performing end of day report in the Superb POS app
- Access EOD
- When ready to close the day, click the EOD icon in the upper right corner
- Note: You can only access this function after all tables have been tendered
- Complete the EOD report
- Enter all required cash and payment information
- Ensure all amounts match
- Balance verification
- If there's a balance mismatch, refer to our EOD troubleshooting guide
- Verify all information is filled correctly
- Finalize and send
- Once the balance matches, the app will show a green checkmark ✅
- The daily sales report is automatically sent to all configured email addresses
Important notes
- All tables must be closed before performing EOD
- Balance must match to complete EOD successfully
- Emails are sent automatically after successful EOD completion
- Multiple recipients can be added to receive reports
- Email configuration only needs to be set up once (unless you want to change recipients)
What's included in the report
The daily sales report email contains:
- Total sales for the day
- Payment method breakdown (cash, card, etc.)
- Transaction summary
- End of day balance information
Troubleshooting
EOD icon is greyed out:
- Ensure all tables are tendered and closed
Balance doesn't match:
- Review the End of Day troubleshooting guide
- Double-check cash, card, and other payment entries
Emails not being received:
- Verify email addresses are entered correctly in AUTO-EMAIL settings
- Check spam/junk folders
- Contact support if issue persists
