How to open the day

This guide explains how to set your starting cash balance when opening the day in your POS app.

Step 1: enter starting cash balance

Choose your preferred method:

• Direct entry: Type the total amount directly
• Count method: Use "+" and "-" buttons to count each banknote and coin denomination

Step 2: register the amount

Critical: Press the "=" button to register your amount. Without this, the system will not save your cash balance.

Step 3: begin the day

1. Verify the displayed amount matches your actual cash
2. Click BEGIN DAY
3. Click YES to confirm

Warning: Once confirmed, this action cannot be undone.

Cannot be reversed - Be certain of your amount before confirming

Cash operations only - Not needed for card-only operations

Affects reconciliation - Incorrect amounts cause end-of-day discrepancies

Always press "=" - Most common mistake is forgetting this step

Troubleshooting

Button not working:

• Ensure you pressed "=" to register amount
• Check that an amount is entered

Wrong amount entered:

• Contact support at support@superbexperience.com
• Note discrepancy for end-of-day reconciliation
