How to Open Specific Days for Booking

This guide explains how to open specific dates for online bookings by creating availability rules.

Accessing Availability Settings

  1. In Partner, navigate to Settings
  • Select Advanced Availability Settings
  • You'll see a collection of all your availability rules

Creating a Basic Opening Rule

  1. Create a new rule
  • Click to create a new rule
  • Specify the exact day you want to open (e.g., April 1, 2024)

  1. Configure the basic rule
  • Select the reference experience (à la carte menu, tasting menu, lunch, dinner, etc.)
  • Set Online Booking to ON
  • Click Active
  • Save the rule

What This Rule Does
  • Opens all bookings for that specific day
  • Applies to lunch, dinner, or whatever experience you selected
  • Works according to your current settings

Creating a Detailed Rule (mandatory)

If the basic rule only shows a waiting list instead of available slots, you need to create a more detailed rule.

  1. Create a detailed rule
  • Set the reference date again
  • Select specific time slots when you want online bookings to be available
  • Example for lunch: 12:00, 14:00, 14:30

  1. Configure experience settings
  • Select lunch or dinner as reference
  • Choose your experiences
  • Set Online Booking to ON

Guest and Booking Limits

  1. Set minimum guests
  • Specify minimum number of guests for that day
  • Usually ranges from 1 to 6 guests (based on your online booking settings)
  • Note: Larger groups (6+, 8+, 10+, 12+) will always be directed to email contact

  1. Set maximum limits (optional)
  • Maximum guests per booking: Set if needed (e.g., 30 people)
  • Maximum number of bookings: Limit total bookings accepted that day

Additional Options

  1. Add no-show fee (if applicable)
  • If you have no-show fees in your general settings
  • Add no-show fee toggle
  • Set the no-show price

  1. Finalize the rule
  • Click Active
  • Save the rule

Rule Types Summary

Two-step process: Start with basic rule, add detailed rule if needed

Time slot specific: Detailed rules allow precise control over available times

Guest limit management: Control both minimum and maximum party sizes

Experience-based: Rules apply to specific experiences (lunch, dinner, etc.)

Your specific day is now open for online bookings with your defined parameters!
