What is a variable price product?
A variable price product allows you to set the price when you add it to a bill in the POS app, rather than using a fixed price.

Creating a variable price product
Step 1: access products
- From your Backoffice home page, go to INVENTORY > PRODUCTS
Step 2: enable variable price
- In the new product section, locate VARIABLE PRICE
- Check this option ON
- Complete other product details as normal
- Save the product
Using variable price products in the POS app
- Select the product
- System prompts you to enter the price
- Enter the current price
- Complete the sale
Common examples
Lunch deal: "Daily Special" - price varies by day's menu
Weekend pricing: "Brunch Menu" - different weekday/weekend rates
Happy hour: "Cocktail Special" - varies by time
Custom orders: "Custom Cake" - price based on specifications
Price must be entered manually for each sale
Train staff on correct pricing for different scenarios
All other product features work the same as fixed-price items
