How to connect the iPad to the Epson fiscal printer (Italy only)


This guide shows you how to properly connect the iPad to the Epson fiscal printer through the Superb POS app.


Before you start: Verify that the iPad is on the same WiFi network as the Epson fiscal printer (the printer must be connected to the router via LAN cable).



Step 1: Access the Superb POS app


Open the Superb POS app on the iPad

  • Access the application backoffice (button in the top left corner)
  • Go to Settings > Fiscal Printer > Scan Network


Step 2: Select the printer


The application will show you the IP address of the Epson fiscal printer

  • Click on Select
  • Click on Proceed


Step 3: Verify the connection

To verify that the printer is connected correctly:


  • Click on the Actions button
  • Choose Print Demo (test print) or EOD (the printer will produce a fiscal closure)



Troubleshooting

If the Scan Network procedure does not produce results (No Printer Found):

  • Verify that the iPad is on the same WiFi network as the printer
  • Verify that the Superb POS app is enabled to connect to local networks: go to iPad Settings > Apps > Superb POS > Connect to Local Networks and enable the option
