How to Block Reservations


You can block reservations for specific dates, times, or tables in your venue. This is useful when you need to reserve capacity for private events, maintenance, or other purposes.


How to Block Reservations


  1. Access the Block feature
  • From your dashboard, locate the Block button in the upper right corner
  • You'll find it next to the "New Reservation," "Walk In," and "Quick Book" sections


  1. Select dates
  • Click on Block Reservations
  • Choose the dates you want to block


  1. Choose a time frame
  • Select a specific time (e.g., 7 PM)
  • Or choose a time range (e.g., 6 PM to 7 PM)


  1. Select what to block
  • All tables: Blocks all rooms and tables for the selected period (only waiting list will be available)
  • Specific rooms or tables: Select individual rooms or tables you want to block


Important: When you block reservations, your waiting list remains open. This means guests can still submit booking requests through the waiting list if you're using that feature.



  1. Confirm
  • Click Block to save your selection



Once blocked, a gray reservation spot labeled "Block" will appear on your dashboard for the selected time period, indicating that the table or room is unavailable for bookings.
