How to Add Discounts in Superb POS
You can apply discounts either ad-hoc during service or through pre-defined discounts.
1. Ad-hoc discounts during service
Apply a Discount to the Whole Bill:
- Tap the DISCOUNT icon (above the list of items on the table screen).
- Choose a discount from the list (these are set up in the Backoffice beforehand).
- The discount will now appear on the bill.
Apply a Discount to a Specific Item:
- Tap the item you want to discount.
- In the pop-up menu, select a discount, change the price, or adjust the quantity.
- The discount will appear both on the item and the full bill.
2. Predefined Discount in Superb POS
Access the Backoffice
Go to the POS Backoffice → DISCOUNTS → Predefined discounts
Create the Discount
Tap ADD NEW, then fill in:
- Name
- Description
- Validity period
Configure Discount Details
- Tap the discount you created
- Select a DISCOUNT TYPE (e.g., percentage or fixed amount)
- Choose the product category the discount should apply to
- To apply the discount to specific products only, tap the + icon next to the category and select items
Save
Tap UPDATE to save your changes.
