How to Activate No-Show Fees for Experiences


This guide explains how to enable no-show fees for your experiences and how to charge customers who don't show up for their reservations.


Activating No-Show Fees


Navigate to Experience Settings


  1. Access the settings from to the top left-hand side of your dashboard. Click on Settings, select Online Reservations and click on Experiences.
  2. Select your experience: Click on the specific experience you want to configure. Scroll down to the Times section.


Select the experience you want to set the no-show fee for



Enable No-Show Fees


  1. Configure the no-show fee
  • You'll see "No Show Fee Disabled"
  • Click on the Edit Pen icon
  • Enable the No Show Fee
  • Set your desired amount in your selected currency (e.g., 1,000 NOK).
  • Press Save


Edit the no-show fee from no-show fee disabled



Remember the no-show fee is in your selected currency.


  1. Repeat for other experiences
  • Repeat this process for each experience if you want different settings
  • You can choose to enable it only on specific experiences or specific days, for example on Fridays and Saturdays.


Select the amount of your no-show fee (remember, in your local currency)



Important Notes


Fee Configuration
  • Experience-specific: No-show fees are set per experience, not globally
  • Flexible setup: You can choose which experiences have no-show fees
  • Customisable amounts: Set different fee amounts for different experiences


Clear communication: Ensure customers are aware of your no-show policy. If your no-show policy is not clearly described in your reservation policy the guest will automatically win in the case of a dispute.
