Implement your payment terminal
Remote POS Terminal Implementation
This guide explains how to set up and test your POS terminal remotely.
Initial Setup Instructions
- Turn on the Terminal
- Set the Language: Click on + to add your language
- To set your language, ex. Danish as the primary language, press and hold on the lines to the right of "Danish", Drag upward to reorder: 1. Danish, 2. English
- Set up wifi: The terminal will automatically prompt you to configure WiFi - follow the on-screen instructions.
At the bottom, you'll find 3 buttons:
- Settings
- Transactions
- Payments
Software Update
- Click on Settings, select Device Info and click on Software Version
- When prompted for a PIN, enter: 1010
- Click on Update
Verify the Update
Check that the update has completed successfully before proceeding.
Test Payment
Once the terminal is updated, perform a test payment:
- Click on Payments
- Enter the amount
- Select no tip
- Complete the payment
Test Refund
Now test the refund function:
- Click on Transazioni (Transactions)
- Click on Nuova Transazione (New Transaction)
- Select the Rimborso (Refund) option
- Enter the PIN when prompted
- Complete the refund
4-digit PIN: 1010
6-digit PIN: 101010
Keep this PIN secure for future terminal management tasks.
