What is a variable price product?

A variable price product allows you to set the price when you add it to a bill in the POS app, rather than using a fixed price.

Use cases:

Promotional pricing (lunch deals, happy hours)

Weekend vs weekday pricing

Seasonal specials

Custom pricing

  1. From your Backoffice home page, go to INVENTORY > PRODUCTS

Step 2: enable variable price

  1. In the new product section, locate VARIABLE PRICE
  2. Check this option ON
  3. Complete other product details as normal
  4. Save the product

Using variable price products in the POS app

  2. System prompts you to enter the price
  3. Enter the current price
