Cash-drawer is not working - Troubleshooting.

Are you having issues with your cash-drawer, look no further.

If you are working with a cash-drawer connected to your POS system, and this has suddenly stopped opening, heres a few tips you can try to solve it.

  1. On the POS-app, go to Settings - Printers - If your Ipad has been updated, it might have lost the setup for the printers, but this is easily fixed. For the printer connected to the Ipad - Please make sure, that there is a check-mark in Receipt and Cash Drawer:

  2. If there is a checkmark in this, and the cash-drawer is still not opening, please check that the cash-drawer is connected to the printer with a cable.

  3. If the drawer is connected through cable, please make sure, that your Ipad is on Wifi and is connected with the printer.
