How to Create Manual Gift Cards


This guide explains how to create and send gift cards manually through the partner portal.


  1. Log into Partner and navigate to Gift Cards. This page shows all your existing gift cards and allows you to manage them
  2. Start creating a new gift card: Click the Add Gift Cards button
  3. Choose gift card type: Select whether you want to insert an amount (monetary value) or choose an experience (from experiences you've already enabled for online gift card sales)
  4. Enter sender and recipient information (name and email address for both)
  5. Add a personal message (optional). You can include a greeting to be printed on the gift card such as: "Happy Birthday", "Merry Christmas", or any custom message
  6. Choose delivery method: choose the email to sender or recipient or both
  7. Select language: Choose the language (English or your standard default localized language) for the gift card and communication.
  8. Set gift card status. Recommended: Keep status as Cash. This is for internal reporting purposes (not fiscal data)
  9. Click save when all the information is complete. Your new gift card will appear at the top of your gift cards list


How to create a new manual gift card in Partner



Important: Do NOT set status to "Redeemed" - this means the gift card has already been used. Each gift card receives a unique gift card code for tracking and redemption



Important notes:

  • Unique codes: Every gift card gets a unique code that you can use to locate and track it
  • Status management: Always use "Cash" status for new gift cards - "Redeemed" is only for used gift cards
  • Language settings: Choose the appropriate language for your recipient's location
  • Personal touch: Adding a greeting makes the gift card more special for the recipient


Your manual gift card is now created and ready to be sent!


How to resend a gift card

To resend a gift card, search for the gift card on the LIST OF GIFT CARDS page using the sender's email address, recipient's email address, or the ID code. Once found, click on the edit icon next to REDEEM to open the gift card details. Verify that the email addresses are correct and that both Email to sender and Email to receiver are selected, then click SAVE. A new copy of the gift card will be sent automatically to both the sender and the recipient.
