How to Create Manual Gift Cards


This guide explains how to create and send gift cards manually through the partner portal.


Getting Started


  1. Log into Partner


  1. Navigate to Gift Cards
  • Go to the left-hand sidebar menu
  • Click on Gift Cards
  • This page shows all your existing gift cards and allows you to manage them


Creating a Manual Gift Card


  1. Start creating a new gift card:Click the Add Gift Cards button


  1. Choose gift card type
  • Select whether you want to:
  • Insert an amount (monetary value)
  • Choose an experience (from experiences you've already enabled for online gift card sales)


Gift Card Details


  1. Enter sender information
  • Sender's name (the person giving the gift card)
  • Sender's email address


  1. Enter recipient information
  • Recipient's name (the person receiving the gift card)
  • Recipient's email address


  1. Add a personal message (optional)
  • Include a greeting to be printed on the gift card
  • Examples: "Happy Birthday", "Merry Christmas", or any custom message


Delivery and Settings


  1. Choose delivery method
  • Send to sender: The gift card goes to you (the person creating it)
  • Send to recipient: The gift card goes directly to the lucky recipient


  1. Select language
  • Choose the language for the gift card and communication
  • Options: English or your standard default localized language


  1. Set gift card status
  • Recommended: Keep status as Cash. This is for internal reporting purposes (not fiscal data)


Important: Do NOT set status to "Redeemed" - this means the gift card has already been used


Finalising Your Gift Card


  1. Save the gift card
  • Click Save when all information is complete
  • Your new gift card will appear at the top of your gift cards list
  • Each gift card receives a unique gift card code for tracking and redemption


Important Notes


Unique codes: Every gift card gets a unique code that you can use to locate and track it

Status management: Always use "Cash" status for new gift cards - "Redeemed" is only for used gift cards

Language settings: Choose the appropriate language for your recipient's location

Personal touch: Adding a greeting makes the gift card more special for the recipient


Your manual gift card is now created and ready to be sent!
