How a guest can cancel their reservation


Guests can cancel their own reservations directly from confirmation and reminder emails if you have enabled this feature in your reservation settings.


How to enable guest cancellations

  1. Navigate to Partner
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select Online Reservation
  4. Click on Reservation Settings
  5. Toggle on "Allow Cancellation"
  6. Set the "Cancellation Notice" period


The Cancellation Notice defines how many hours before the reservation guests are allowed to cancel. For example, if you set it to 2 hours, guests can cancel their reservation up to 2 hours before the scheduled time.

How guests cancel their reservations

Once enabled, guests will see a "Cancel reservation" link in both their:

  • Confirmation emails
  • Reminder emails

By clicking this link, guests can cancel their reservation directly without contacting the restaurant.


Important notes
  • You control the cancellation deadline through the Cancellation Notice setting
  • Cancellations after the deadline will not be possible through the email link
  • Guests will need to contact the restaurant directly if they need to cancel after the deadline
