How to Close the Day (End of Day)

This guide explains how to perform the End of Day (EOD) cash up process to close your daily transactions.

Starting End of Day

Click the End of Day icon in the top right corner of the app to begin the process.

Before You Begin

Ensure all payments are tendered - All tables must be closed before starting EOD. The app will display:

Diff amount: The difference between expected and entered amounts (if any)
Cash in Register: Cash start plus current day's turnover

Step-by-Step EOD Process

1. Cash Start

This shows the amount you entered at the beginning of the day
This amount is automatically displayed and cannot be changed

2. Cash in Register

Enter the total amount of cash currently in your register
Press "=" to register the amount in the system
Click NEXT to confirm

3. Deposited to Bank

The app automatically calculates this amount
Formula: Cash in Register minus Cash Start
This is the amount to be deposited

4. Card Payments

Enter the total amount from all credit card payments

| When all amounts are correct, you'll see a confirmation window indicating the balance is adjusted correctly. You can proceed to close the day.

If Balance Doesn't Match

The app will show a mismatch screen with the following information:

How to set up rooms and tables

Quick Start Guide: Restaurant Setup

First navigate to your Partner account.

Create Rooms

Rooms can be areas like Bar, Lounge, or Main Dining Room.

Open the side bar menu in the top left corner and choose "Settings"
Go to Rooms → Click Add Room
Name your room
Tick Online Booking if guests can book it
Tick Show Online if guests should see this room
Mark Active and Save
Repeat for each room
Use the pencil ✏️ to edit or drag to reorder

Add Tables

Go to Tables → Click Add Table
Name your table (for internal use only)
Set Min and Max guests
Choose the Room it belongs in
(Optional) Set Priority (higher = booked first)
(Optional) Choose Shape
Tick Active
Tick Book Only in Combination if this table should never be booked alone

Go to Table Combination → Click Add Combination
Select tables
Set Min and Max guests

How to Create Manual Gift Cards

This guide explains how to create and send gift cards manually through the partner portal.

Log into Partner and navigate to Gift Cards. This page shows all your existing gift cards and allows you to manage them
Start creating a new gift card: Click the Add Gift Cards button
Choose gift card type: Select whether you want to insert an amount (monetary value) or choose an experience (from experiences you've already enabled for online gift card sales)
Enter sender and recipient information (name and email address for both)
Add a personal message (optional). You can include a greeting to be printed on the gift card such as: "Happy Birthday", "Merry Christmas", or any custom message
Choose delivery method: choose the email to sender or recipient or both
Select language: Choose the language (English or your standard default localized language) for the gift card and communication.
Set gift card status. Recommended: Keep status as Cash. This is for internal reporting purposes (not fiscal data)
Click save when all the information is complete. Your new gift card will appear at the top of your gift cards list

How to create API key for Tripletex

Tripletex integration

|| When you want to integrate the Superb platform to Tripletex, you'll need to setup an API key in the Tripletex backoffice.

To do this follow these steps.

Login to Tripletex.no
Go to your profile in Tripletex by pressing the small icon in the top right corner and go to "min profil"! Min profil
Navigate the top-menu and find the API-tilgang. Please make sure, that your user has access to API-creation:
Click on "Ny nøkkel" and do the following setup:
Create the API-key through Opprett Nøkkel
Copy the API key, and attach it to the typeform to Superb
